USDT TRC20 Error: Duplicate Transaction

A duplicate transaction error means the network already has this exact transaction recorded — which is usually good news, not bad news.

What causes it

This typically happens when a wallet or app retries sending the same signed transaction, either automatically after a slow response, or because a user clicked send more than once. TRON recognizes it as an identical transaction it has already processed and refuses to process it twice.

Check if it already succeeded

Before assuming the transfer failed, search the transaction hash on TronScan. If it shows up with a SUCCESS status, the funds already moved the first time, and the duplicate error was just the network correctly blocking a second attempt.

If you can't find it

If no matching transaction shows up anywhere, the safest move is to rebuild and resend the transfer from the wallet rather than trying to force the same signed transaction through again.
